Avi Weisfogel; a Philanthropist, dentist, graduate of both Rutgers University and New York University College of Dentistry, has started a GoFundMe campaign to benefit Operation Smile. Avi Weisfogel spent a lot of time as a dentist and has won many awards for his excellent work. Avi has 16 years of experience in sleep apnea and has given countless seminars on the subject. He believes that there is a very distinct correlation between sleep apnea and dental health.
Apart from his work as a dentist, Avi Weisfogel started “Healthy Heart Sleep” 5 years ago to do research on how he and other doctors could help people that were having sleep issues. Avi also worked with other dentists to show them the connection between sleep issues and dental health through his creation, “Dental Sleep Masters”.
Operation smile is a charity that helps children and young teenagers with facial deformities and it is something that Avi is passionate about. Avi has started a GoFundMe page to help the charity out and is eager to contribute to the cause. He is a philanthropist and his work lead him to find this amazing organization.
Operation smile has helped thousands of children in over sixty countries. They have treated cleft palates, cleft lips, and several other deformities in young children and teenagers. This charity is for the people that cannot afford these surgeries and it helps pay for the supplies and care necessary for the kids to have a normal life. The charity has also worked with the medical staff to train them in performing the surgeries and they have donated equipment all across the world.
